Chapter 113 - 112: Breakthrough

The Resman Empire’s Badge Masters wielded their longswords, surrounding eight giant species polluters.

As one giant species polluter charged into their ranks, two Badge Masters struck its legs, slashing open a pair of wounds deep enough to expose the bone.

The giant species polluter swung its massive stone pillar in a wide arc, smashing into the two Badge Masters. They were instantly reduced to pulp and slammed against the wall.

Seizing the opportunity, two more Badge Masters rushed forward. They swung their swords at the giant species polluter’s calves, carving out two more gashes and nearly severing its legs.

The muscle tissue in the giant species polluter’s legs writhed as it began to regenerate at a furious pace. With another sweep of its stone pillar, it smashed those two Badge Masters into pulp.

A Badge Master with an exceptionally swift Body Technique seized the opening. His sword flashed like a meteor, piercing the giant species polluter’s chest cavity and running through its heart, barely managing to kill it.

Each of the giant species polluters possessed Infinite Strength. They were incomparably brutal and fearless, making them the most terrifying of foes. An ordinary Badge Master was no match for them.

However, among the Resman Empire’s forces were four Great Spirit Master Level Badge Masters. They capitalized on the openings created by the sacrifices of their comrades, cutting down the giant species polluters with decisive sword strikes.

At the cost of twenty Badge Master lives, the Resman Empire’s elites managed to take down four of the giant species polluters.

A Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master thrust his Long Sword into the heart of a giant species polluter. As a torrent of acid erupted from the wound, he immediately shot backward.

WHOOSH!

An arrow, glowing like dark Moonlight, shot out like a meteor and struck the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master in the head. It pierced through his Badge Armor, sank into his skull, and pinned him to the ground.

"A Divine Archer!"

The eyes of the three remaining Great Spirit Master Level Badge Masters immediately fell upon Camilla in the distance, their hearts filled with alarm.

On a battlefield, a Heroic Level Divine Archer like Camilla was always the first target to be eliminated.

Ignoring the giant species polluters that were still slaughtering their comrades, the three Great Spirit Master Level Badge Masters’ figures flickered. They shot toward Camilla like three sharp blades.

Ten giant species polluters gave a great heave, hurling ten massive stone pillars toward the three Great Spirit Masters like a volley of meteors.

With a flicker of movement, the three Badge Masters nimbly dodged each of the stone pillars.

WHOOSH!

A streak of black Moonlight tore through the air and struck one of the Badge Masters, piercing straight through the Great Spirit Master’s skull.

With a wave of his hand, Shu Feng summoned thirty Ghost-devouring Demons and two hundred Black Dog Illusion Demons. They formed a Void Demon Corps and charged at the two remaining Great Spirit Master Level Badge Masters.

"You vile mongrels!"

One of the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master’s eyes turned bloodshot. His Long Sword became a raging tempest, and with a furious sweep, he sliced three Spirit Master Level Ghost-devouring Demons to pieces, splattering blood everywhere.

WHOOSH!

Another streak of black Moonlight appeared, striking the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master in the head and piercing his skull.

"Damn it!!"

The last remaining Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master conjured a storm of sword images, furiously cutting down ten Ghost-devouring Demons that swarmed him like maggots on a corpse. But he looked up in despair to see two hundred Black Dog Illusion Demons charging at him.

If not for Camilla watching him like a hawk, the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master could have easily carved his way through the horde of Black Dog Illusion Demons, slaughtering them at will. But now, he had to divert a portion of his Spirit to defend against Camilla with every move, consuming far more Power than in a normal fight.

"Demon Blade Claw!"

Suddenly, ten Ghost-devouring Demons swiped their claws in unison, sending ten black Demon Blade Claws hurtling toward the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master.

The Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master struck ten times in quick succession with his Long Sword, shattering every one of the Demon Blade Claws.

A streak of black Moonlight suddenly materialized, shooting toward the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master’s head.

"Break!"

A cold glint flashed in the Badge Master’s eyes. His Long Sword struck out like a venomous dragon, viciously slashing at the streak of black Moonlight.

The black Moonlight shattered, and an arrow was sent flying, clattering to the ground. The force of the impact also sent the Badge Master staggering back more than a dozen steps.

Camilla held the Dark Moon Bow, her right hand trembling slightly. A flicker of exhaustion showed in her beautiful eyes.

’Her power has weakened! This is my chance!’

The Badge Master’s eyes lit up with a flash of excitement.

At that exact moment, a Ghost-devouring Demon viciously raked its claws across the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master’s back, tearing a long gash through his Badge Armor.

"Die!"

The Badge Master swung his sword, cutting the Ghost-devouring Demon down in a single strike.

WHOOSH!

An arrow shot out from Camilla’s position, flying toward the Badge Master.

The Badge Master was exceptionally sharp. His sword, wreathed in a hazy black light, shattered the arrow in a single strike.

At that very instant, another arrow, fired with incredible stealth, pierced the Badge Master’s eye, causing him to let out a bloodcurdling scream.

"I shot the first arrow, you idiot!"

Shu Feng lowered an Alloy War Bow, a faint smile on his lips.

Shu Feng had fired the first arrow; Camilla had fired the second. The Badge Master had been just a little too careless, and it had cost him an eye.

The Ghost-devouring Demons and Black Dog Illusion Demons descended upon the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master in a frenzy.

Sword light flashed amidst a spray of flesh and gore.

A few moments later, a final, agonized scream echoed from the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Master’s location. He had been torn to shreds by the swarming Ghost-devouring Demons and Black Dog Illusion Demons.

With all the Great Spirit Master Level Badge Masters dead, the remaining giant species polluters began to mercilessly slaughter the last of the Resman Empire’s Badge Masters.

Many of the Resman Empire’s surviving civilians fled from the large building, scattering in all directions.

"Damn it all! Get out of my way!"

With a furious roar, Tage Mulis forced Ye Mingxi back with a blow from his sword. His figure flickered and, in a few short leaps, he vanished into the building.

Ye Mingxi’s shapely eyebrows arched. Her figure blurred, and as nimble as a Spiritual Sparrow, she gave chase.

RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

Like terrifying, man-shaped bulldozers, the giant species polluters smashed gaping holes in the building and forced their way inside.

Inside the building, within an incredibly spacious hall, stood a Divine Statue. It was the image of a peerless beauty, clad in thin black gauze that left large swathes of her skin exposed. Her figure was voluptuous and sensual, yet her expression carried an air of both bewitching allure and holy sanctity.
